I work as a fashion stylist. I am a devoted mother, wife, daughter, friend, and animal lover.
Where do you live now? What do you love most about it?
I live in the neighborhood of Silver Lake in Los Angeles, California. I love the light, the canyons and the subtle changes in seasons.
Favorite hobbies/pastimes?
Cooking and reading. Saturday mornings at the beach in Malibu. Sunday mornings at the farmers market in Hollywood.
What do you like most about your work?
Every shoot/job is unique and involves working with creative, cool people and places that I may not have encountered otherwise.

When I’m with my family and friends.
What are your favorite places that you have travelled to and where do you want to go next?
The magical energy of Hawaii has made it a favorite place of mine to go back to. I would like to visit the Netherlands with my mother to learn more about my heritage.
Biggest luxury?
Time alone.

Hip hop and classical are on heavy rotation in the car. At home its Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Willie Nelson, Cat Stevens, Bob Marley...

What are your rules to live by?
The Golden Rule:

How do you unwind or de-stress?
A walk at dawn and/or dusk always brings perspective and relieves stress.
Do you unplug from devices? Night time or weekends?
Definitely. I am quite cognizant and concerned about how technology is infiltrating and impacting all of our lives.
Do you have a favorite recipe to share?
Yes! Curry Cauliflower:
Sautée one head of finely sliced cauliflower in a skillet with a spoonful of coconut oil and a generous amount of extra virgin olive oil. Add in a heaping spoonful of curry, a spoonful of turmeric, sea salt & black pepper. Let simmer covered, over low heat until cauliflower is soft stirring every 5 minutes. Once cauliflower is soft, remove lid and sauté over medium to high heat until golden and a little crispy.

I have two dogs…Blue, an Australian Shepherd and Bear, a Yorkie, my constant companions.
How do you take good care of yourself?
Daily morning hikes in nature, bi-weekly Pilates, weekly acupuncture, regular craniosacral and chiropractic body work. Sleep, sun, supplements and a super clean diet.
When do you feel your best?
With 8 hours of sleep.
Beauty routine/skincare regime?
I use Tammy Fender and Evan Healey skincare. I see Kristie Stricher for brows. Linda Cho has been cutting my hair for over fifteen years. I do my own nails. I love an Epsom salt bath. A good massage can work miracles. Less is more for me in this department.

Who is your style icon, and why?
Women with timeless, true style: Phoebe Philo, Stella McCartney, Isabel Marant, Emanuelle Alt, Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen, Gaia Repossi...natural and never trying too hard.

What do you like about KC and what was your first piece?
KC is a brand I go back to time and again for its easy elegance and effortless style. My first piece was The Rounded Bangle Thick. I bought it about 7 or 8 years ago. It's timeless: simple and sculptural, I love it and still wear it all the time.
What is your latest favorite and how do you like to style it?
I love the Naked Ear Cuff and wear it day and night with pretty much everything. I don’t have pierced ears so it totally works for me.
Which accessories do you like to wear at night?
The Bolsa in black is a super chic for evening. I don’t like carrying very much so it’s just right for just the essentials…. keys, wallet, phone.
What’s next on your shopping list?
The dog collars and leashes! I love the tapered and padded collars.
